Alan is a solicitor, a consultant to the firm and an expert in Planning. Prior to becoming a consultant he was head of its Planning Department, where over a number of years he was instrumental in developing the department's expertise and competence in town and country planning, helping it to a pre-eminent position in the South-West region.
